Jasmin Doolittle

Jasmin Seitzer is an Equestrian professional with over 20 years of experience in the horse world. She offers a wide range of services from introductory riding lessons to ringside show coaching.

A graduate of the Bachelor's program in Equestrian Science at William Woods University, and current student of the Masters of Education Program (MeEd) in Equestrian Education at the same University. Jasmin has a well-rounded background working with horses. Her passion started when she began taking riding lessons at age 12. She continued to progress through the levels, working with difficult horses, misunderstood horses, and fully-trained horses, and decided it was time to purchase one of her own. At the age of 18, Jasmin set out with a purpose, found a halter broke gelding named Harley, and got to work. Within a matter of months, she had trained her first horse to be ridden... inside, outside, on trails, through storms, over jumps, and in a variety of schooling shows. This was the flame igniting her passion for learning and teaching.

From then she enrolled at William Woods University, where she had the opportunity to show Arabian/Half Arabian and Stock horse western pleasure, Saddle Seat, and then became devoted to Hunters and Jumpers. She participated in clinics, for example riding with clinician Greg Best at 3'6”, she competed in shows on the A circuit, and was fully involved in the 5 semester teaching techniques program. Over summers she spent time working at many different summer riding programs, working with children and young adults, helping them safely harness their passion for horses. During her last semester and thereafter, Jasmin taught lessons at a beautiful Hunter/Jumper show barn outside of St.Louis, MO, teaching riders of ages 6-26, and skill levels from ground poles to 3'6”.

Jasmin Seitzer created a successful lesson program in Inver Grove Heights, Minnesota, with students competing in local level Hunter shows, and successfully working with green horses and horses who are new to jumping! She has relocated to warmer weather, with her base of training located in Saint Petersburg, Florida. She mainly hosts lessons at her private 8-stall concrete center aisle barn in Saint Petersburg, FL but will travel within reasonable distance to help you. She will give you and your horse a plan to succeed, and show you how to reach your riding and training goals. She firmly believes you cannot use the same exact approach with every horse, and that the training cannot be for one member of the partnership, it must be applied to horse and rider.

Jasmin is currently working towards her Master's Degree in Equestrian Education at William Woods University, and teaching riding lessons full time from her private home barn in Saint Petersburg Florida. High Tide Equestrian Center has 8 stalls with individual fans, overhead aisle fans, an overhead fly spray system, two climate-controlled tack rooms, 4 outdoor wash racks, and a 100' x 200' riding arena with raised and covered viewing deck, as well as 4 turnout paddocks.
